It has a massive 8 inch square pole, 5 foot extension arm, NCAA (72” x 42” x 1/2" ) gym quality tempered glass backboard, and college dual spring break-away rim. Bigger Is Better!
The 8” square pole makes this system amazingly rigid and stable. You will not find a basketball goal with a larger pole than the Diamond’s. The 5 foot beefy extension arms are mounted to this rock solid pole. All other “top of the line” basketball goals use a 4’ extension arm for their systems. We have extended the extension arm to 5’ making a regulation 4’ distance from the baseline to backboard possible. The longer extension also ads another level of safety and will dwarf your neighbor’s wimpy basketball hoop. The tempered glass backboard is a full 1/2 inch thick like gymnasium and professional systems.

The glass (similar to your car windshield) will stay crystal clear and never dull from scratches like the softer acrylic material. This backboard is also a full 1/2 inch thick. This is the same thickness you'll find in gymnasiums and professional arenas. The backboard padding is built using our exclusive molding process that incorporates a steel insert which gives strength at all mounting locations (fasteners can not pull out).
